4.18 Off-Duty Conduct & Social Media Clarification

THE COMPANY respects lawful off-duty conduct; however, conduct that harms operations, reveals confidential information, or damages THE COMPANY or SUBWAY® brand reputation is prohibited.

Examples of prohibited conduct include:

  • Posting internal systems, POS screens, cash counts, safe codes, or back-of-house footage
  • Posting guest information or images without consent
  • Harassing, bullying, or threatening co-workers online
  • Recording or sharing workplace conversations, video, or audio without authorization
  • Posting content that violates food safety, shows unsafe behavior, or violates policy
  • Posting false or damaging claims about THE COMPANY intended to harm the business

This policy will be enforced in accordance with the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), ensuring that nothing here restricts legally protected concerted activity.
