3.14 Leave & Civic Duty Rights
Team Members have protected leave rights under state and federal law, including:
- Jury Duty Leave
- Right to unpaid leave for jury service
- Protection from retaliation
- Right to keep jury summons confidential
- Crime Victim Leave
- Right to time off to attend court proceedings
- Protection for providing testimony
- Court Attendance & Subpoena Leave
- Team members subpoenaed as witnesses have legally protected leave
- Voting Leave (Georgia Law)
- Up to two hours off to vote in elections if scheduled hours prevent voting
- No retaliation or penalty for exercising this right
