1.21 Policy Revisions, Modifications, and Updates
THE COMPANY reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to interpret, revise, amend, modify, change, suspend, rescind, cancel, supplement, delete, and/or add to any of the policies, procedures, work rules, programs, guidelines, and/or benefits described in this Team Member Handbook or in any other communication to Team Members, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without advance notice, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
This Team Member Handbook contains the policies and practices of THE COMPANY in effect on the date of publication. It supersedes and replaces all previously issued Team Member Handbooks, policy statements, practices, memoranda, or guidelines—whether written, electronic, or oral—that are inconsistent with the policies set forth herein. Once any new or revised policy becomes effective, all prior versions are considered null and void.
To the extent there is any conflict between this Team Member Handbook and federal, state, or local laws (including Georgia law), applicable law shall control. THE COMPANY will comply with all legally mandated requirements and reserves the right to make modifications to its policies as needed to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Policies set forth in this Team Member Handbook are intended as guidelines only. They are not intended to address every possible situation, nor to create contractual rights, obligations, or guarantees of continued employment. This Team Member Handbook does not and shall not be construed to alter the at-will employment relationship recognized by Georgia and federal law. No oral statement, representation, or promise by any manager, supervisor, or representative of THE COMPANY may alter the provisions of this Team Member Handbook or the at-will employment relationship.
Any revisions or updates to this Team Member Handbook will be communicated to Team Members as soon as practicable, either through an updated Team Member Handbook, written memorandum, electronic notice, or other reasonable method. Unless otherwise specified, changes become effective on the date determined by THE COMPANY. Team Members are responsible for reviewing and complying with the most up-to-date version of the Team Member Handbook, which is accessible at: https://www.dgisubway.com/teammemberhandbook.
The most current version of the Handbook, as published in THE COMPANY’s authorized digital systems, supersedes all previous versions (including printed, downloaded, saved, or previously distributed copies).
