3.10 Georgia Child Labor Rights

Team Members under 18 years old are entitled to special protections under Georgia and federal youth employment laws. These rights include:

  • Restrictions on work hours (based on age and school status)
  • Prohibition of hazardous duties or equipment
  • Required rest and safety protections
  • The right to attend school without interference
  • The right to be free from pressure to violate child labor laws

Management is responsible for strictly following all minor regulations. No minor may work outside legally permitted hours or perform any duty prohibited by federal or state law.

THE COMPANY may communicate with a parent or legal guardian when required to comply with child labor laws or protect a minor’s safety.
