5.6 Rehiring Former Team Members
Applications received from former Team Members will be reviewed and processed in the same manner as all other applicants. However, prior performance records and the circumstances surrounding any prior termination will be considered as part of the decision-making process.
Rehire Request Requirement
All rehire decisions must be documented. Hiring Managers are required to complete the Rehire Request Form for review and approval prior to making any offer of reemployment. Failure to follow this process may result in disciplinary action.
Eligibility for Rehire
As a general guideline, THE COMPANY will consider rehiring a former Team Member only if the following conditions are met:
- The Team Member voluntarily resigned and provided a proper two (2) weeks’ notice, which was fully worked.
- The Team Member left in good standing with THE COMPANY.
- The Team Member’s personnel file reflects minimal or no disciplinary actions.
Non-Eligibility
Former Team Members who do not meet these standards will generally not be considered for rehire.
Final Review
The Director of Operations will review all pertinent information and determine eligibility for reemployment on a case-by-case basis.
THE COMPANY Rights
THE COMPANY reserves the right to rescind or terminate employment if it is later determined that a rehire was made in error or under misrepresentation.
